And Now...The Moment You've All Been Waiting For

I know this has been like 2 weeks coming and believe me i am just as ready for it as you are!

Oh, and my "helpers" had to make an appearance as well.
Any who... We painted the walls all the same color and chose "bright colors" as our vague, anything goes color scheme.

All of the rooms in our house are super small so you just have to deal with the odd angled shots. We turned the bunk bed into a loft bed and my free craigslist chair makes for a great little reading seat for me and the girls, even with me and by broad post-two-kids-rear-end.

I got that purple curtain on clearance and 50% off of the clearance price but it was just the tiniest bit too small  on each side and the only one they had. I made these little ends to fill in the space. Bonus: They helped sassy up my plain old cheap-o curtain rod.

My free cardboard monograms I made for each of the girls fit right in!

My Free ABC Board fits right in too!

Another bonus: I had some left over flowers from the curtain ends so I dressed up a little basket from last Easter.

I have big plans for this area. But that's just something you'll have to stay tuned for.

This is all that's left of the great Sharpie Accident of 2011.

This little tie is made from one of my daughters hair clips and a tie that went around some fabric napkins that I bought. It hold it in place and looks cute to boot.

And what to the residents think? Well, see for yourself!

Cost break down:

Bunkbed:  Free but we had to replace a few boards so about $10
Paint: $20
Ribbon :$8
Flowers: $3
Curtain: $3
New "Big Girl" Sheets and Blanket: $20

Total Cost :

$64

I think that brings this room to the most expensive post yet, and I intend to keep it that way.
