I Bought a Chameleon and Some Other Stuff

Here's my  chameleon. Do you see it?

That is the back side of this little beauty that I found at Salvation Army for $7.25.

Now, I know you are going, "What the heck?" Right? Well.....you're just gonna have to wait and see. :) I know. I'm mean like that. I will tell you that the "Herbsters" will not be staying.

On to other things. This has got to be my all time most favorite find EVER. I have never seen one before and truth be told it was actually my hubby that found this little jewel for $1.

It is totally going in my kitchen! Does anyone else know what it is?

And last but not least...

This is Fred. She is my husband's turtle.

We scored a couple of half off terrarium plants for her. She's still getting used to them.

This is Fred's home.

This is my home.

Although she dearly loves her 100 gallon pond we clearly have a clash of style so something has got to change (especially all that potential storage this could have) and pronto.
The first thing will be the air freshener. *rolling of eyes* I have no idea where that even came from.
In a previous life this was where the washer and dryer would have been but an interesting first owner moved them to the other side of the wall, to the garage. That green hose coming out of the wall is 100% my husband. and if you are asking, no he did not ask before he did it. While it is very handy for filling up the tank, it has some major aesthetic issues.

So, know you know what I am going to be working on for the next couple of weeks and I'll get you updates on various projects as we go along. There will be pallets, burlap, picture frames, paint, air dry clay, and SO much more!!!

  1. I'm guessing it's a glass (or plastic?) rolling pin... the sides are open so you can add ice water or water when you roll out the dough. I can't remember for sure cuz it's been a while since i used one like that.
